Blogging Friends Blog Hop – Step It Up!

Welcome to this month’s Blogging Friends Blog Hop!

Thanks for making it over to my blog! Each month we’ll have a different theme, and this month it’s “Step It Up!”

That means I will walk you through three versions of a card, one for the beginner crafter, one for the casual crafter, and then one for the avid crafter. Each one steps it up just a notch!

Here is my beginner card. Simple and clean using a few stamps, ink, and paper.

The next step up is for the casual crafter, adding in a few embellishments and a coordinating die for the teacup.

I also softened the edges by blending on some Crumb Cake.

Last but not least is the avid crafter stepping it up even more! I’ve used some coordinating DSP with the die cuts. I popped up each of the stamped imaged once cut out with the dies. I’ve also added a fun border using another die.

I love how fun it was to make each a little bit more stepped up or fancy!

Here are all three together so you can see the transitions.

I hope this shows you there is room for any level of crafter in stamping!

Here are the supplies I used:

Stamps: Cup of Tea [Bundle]

Card Stock/Paper: Crushed Curry, Sweet Sorbet, White, Tea Boutique Designer Series Paper

Inks: Black, Crushed Curry, Sweet Sorbet, Garden Green, Crumb Cake, Pool Party

Cut & Emboss Machine items: Teacup Dies [Bundle], Stitched with Whimsey Dies

Accessories:  Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Blending Brush, White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon, In Color Matte Decorative Dots

I hope you’ve enjoyed this project, and don’t forget to hop through the rest of today’s entries and leave us some nice notes!
