Fancy Folds – Slide Lock Card

Thanks for joining us this month! We’re hopping all over the world with some fun cards. It’s time for the new Fancy Fold for this month – the Slide Lock Card!

I’ve used the new Pansy Patch Bundle to create this very Spring-like card!

The base of the card opens up like a gate, and the flower design piece slides between the two doors to hold them closed.

Without even measuring, you can make the “lock” piece very easily.

• Cut 4 pieces of cardstock the same size, I used 2 in green, and 2 white for the inside.
• Fold 2 pieces in half, and sandwich them between the outside pieces, with the fold turned towards the middle.

You can see the sandwich in the above picture.

This slides down the card, with one flap of the base tucked in each side. Here it is closed up:

Don’t forget to decorate the inside with a few stamped pansies!
