Blogging Friends Blog Hop – Anything Goes

Welcome to this month’s Blogging Friends Blog Hop!

Thanks for making it over to my blog! Each month we’ll have a different theme, and this month it’s “Anything Goes!

There are so many choices!!  I’ve landed on a card I made using some colors I love that pair up with a paper design I can’t get enough of!

I’ve used some of the new Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper (DSP) with the blue trees pattern. It’s so pretty!

This is all part of the Beauty of the Earth Suite of products. The paper, die cut tree and birds, the sentiment.. all of it are in there!

I stamped right on the DSP with Versamark and used Silver Embossing Powder for the sentiment.

I love how the vellum tree still lets you see the gorgeous design on the DSP.

Here are the supplies I used:

Stamps: Beauty of Friendship (bundle)

Card Stock/Paper: Night of Navy, Misty Moonlight, White, Beauty of the Earth DSP, Vellum

Inks: Versamark

Cut & Emboss Machine items: Beautiful Trees Dies (bundle), Evergreen Forest SD Embossing Folder

Accessories: Silver Embossing Powder, Heat tool, Blue Adhesive-Backed Gems, Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack, Dimensionals

I hope you’ve enjoyed this project, and don’t forget to hop through the rest of today’s entries and leave us some nice notes!

  • This is a stunning card Mary Ann! I love how you allowed the beautiful DSP to shine through using a vellum tree cut out. The detail behind with the embossing just adds to the amazing layers.
