I’m excited to come to you the 1st of each month with some fun projects highlighting a variety of topics, techniques, and Stampin’ Up! Specials!

For this month the theme is Saying Goodbye is Hard to Do!

I’ve created a beautiful card for you using retiring products. If you like them enough to purchase, don’t delay – these are available only through May 3rd, or as supplies last on some items.

The Forever Greenery DSP was one of my favorites, with a bunch of shades of green in it. I paired up the leaf design with the coordinating Pretty Peacock and gave it some texture with the Subtle embossing folder.  I’m really going to miss that folder!

To give it a pop of color, I used the Mango Melody Blends to color the butterflies from the Butterfly Gala stamp set. The coordinating Butterfly Duet punch makes it easy to add to any project.

I sponged a bit of color and stamped the butterflies off a few times before using them for the inside of the card.

The fun gold trim, multiple layered label using the Triple Banner Punch, and lots of Wink of Stella complete the card.

Note – Wink of Stella is sticking around… I just couldn’t resist using it on the butterflies!!
