Fancy Folds – Impossible Card

Hi folks!  Thanks for joining us this month! We’re hopping all over the world with some fun cards. It’s time for the new Fancy Fold for this month – the Impossible Card!

This is such a fun card layout to make, and much easier than it looks.

Here is the card I created for you today:

I used some of the new products in the Peaceful Poppies Suite coming up in the Mini Catalog starting in January,
The gorgeous Designer Series Paper is Peaceful Poppies. The Sentiment is from Peaceful Moments, which can be bundled with the Poppy Moments Dies. The cute poppy flower and leaves dies are in that set.
The field of flowers is from the Painted Poppies stamp set, bundled with the Painted Labels Dies, which I used for the Happy Birthday label.
I colored the flowers with Stampin Blends and Wink of Stella. I added a bit of bling with the cute Peaceful Poppies Sequins.

Here’s a view from the top to see the leaves on the back:

My card starts with a base of 5.5″ x 4.25″.  You can score a line through the middle, then make a few cuts on either side – up to the score line.

The gray line is scored, the red lines are cut. You can play with the location of the cut lines, as they will give you different size panels to decorate.

Then, with just a little bit of folding and decorating, you can end up with a pretty card like this!

This was such a fun card to make, and I hope you like it!

I also hope it inspires you to create some fun cards.

Make sure to check out all the other fantastic projects from the other team members. They have great projects for you this month!
