We BEE Stamping Team Blog Hop – Creative Backgrounds

Welcome to the We BEE Stamping Team Blog Hop!!!

I’m excited to come to you the 1st of each month with some fun projects highlighting a variety of topics, techniques, and Stampin’ Up! Specials!

For this month the theme is Creative Backgrounds!

This is one I haven’t done in a few years, and thought I’d bring it back! It’s the faux patina look.

I love the Exposed Brick 3D folder, and though the bricks would look pretty neat with this. I used it on Boho Blue CS, and then used the blending brushes to apply multiple colors.

Once colored, I heat embossed some gold over splotches of the bricks.

The end result looks like an aged piece of art!

I embossed the sentiment and brushed some of the same colors on the label to coordinate.

The gold accents are rounded out with the gold foil paper and sequins.

I love this look, and there are so many color combinations you can try.

Here are the products I’ve used today:

Stamps: Textured Floral

Card Stock/Paper: Boho Blue, Gold Foil, White

Inks: Boho Blue, Mossy Meadow, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Versamark

Cut & Emboss Machine items: Nested Essentials Dies, Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder

Accessories: Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins, Boho Blue Textured Ribbon, Gold Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Blending Brushes, Dimensionals
