Dark and Stormy Winter Night

Hello!   A little bit ago I created a night scene with some dark skies and bare trees. If you missed it, you can see that here.

When I put that together, I had actually created two version of that scene, one with the bare trees, and this winter one with some pine trees.

They both use the same technique of sponging colors onto the paper for the sky, and even the same colors.

I added some white snow using the Craft White Ink with the stamp of little dots.

For the tree branch tips, I added some extra shiny snow on the branches with the Water Painters and Frost White Shimmer Paint.

Then I splattered what was still on the brush onto the sky.

I hope you liked this winter version of the Dark and Stormy night!
