Blogging Friends Blog Hop – Back to School Bash

Thanks for making it over to my blog! Each month we’ll have a different theme, and this month it’s “Back to School Bash”.

I had so much fun with the Press On coffee related stamp set recently, that I thought this next project would make a perfect “Back to School” gift for any teacher.

When I thought abut this theme, I thought what helps the teachers get up and going in the morning? For most of them, the answer is probably ‘Coffee’! So I went down that path. Then I thought what could teachers want, and with everything chaotic going on, I figured keeping in touch would be a nice treat.

That’s where my project comes in. It’s a set of cards wrapped up in a cute acetate box – with the coffee theme – to help them keep those nice notes going.

Here’s the box all closed up:

I used the Press On stamp set and paired it with some new Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper, it has copper and gold foil on it!

I wrapped the acetate box with the DSP, and added the label to it. I filled it with a few simple cards with two different designs. You can fit at least 4 cards with envelopes in here.

The first uses some Copper foil to go with the copper metallic ribbon. I used the circle die from the Warm Wraps Dies for the sentiment

The next uses Champagne Rhinestones as the accent on top of the Mint Macaron ribbon.

To keep the metallic colors going, I added some of the gold envelopes from the new mini catalog.

I’m sure any teacher would be happy to get this set as they head back to school this year!
