PCC387 – Press On with a Cup of Coffee

Welcome to this week’s Paper Craft Crew Card Challenge!

Here is the PCC387 Sketch Challenge we are using this week:

For this one I used one of Stampin’ Up!’s brand new stamp sets from the Aug-Dec Mini-Catalog, Press On. It’s a super cute set with little to-go coffee cups, or to-go tea cups if you prefer.

Here is my card for you:

I colored the cups with the Stampin’ Blends, and cut them out. I used the new Wrapped in Texture embossing folders on the coffee wraps. It comes in a 2-pack, with 2 different patterns!

Here’s a quick tip to make the cup on the left a little taller to fit the sentiment – I cut it in half and split it apart a bit. In person it looks much better, but if you stare at the picture too long, you can tell the lines don’t magically line up the right way… but hey, we can pretend we don’t see that. Just don’t stare. Issue solved. 🙂

In the close up you can see the two textures on the wraps.

To finish it off, I used the Shimmery Crystal Effects on the cute little heart that I cut out for the smaller cup, then added the In-Color dots to match.

Here is the supply list I used this week:

Stamps: Press On

Card Stock/Paper: In Good Taste Designer Series Paper, Misty Moonlight, Crumb Cake, Basic Black, Whisper White

Inks: Craft White, Magenta Madness, Memento Black

Accessories: Wrapped in Texture Embossing Folders, Rhinestones, In-Color Enamel Dots, Smokey Slate Light and Dark Blends, Light Pool Party Blends, Stampin’ Blends Color Lifter, Shimmery Crystal Effects, Dimensionals

I hope you enjoyed this, and don’t forget to check out all the other inspirational entries and join the challenge here!

Happy Stamping!
