Welcome to today’s exciting news! I’ve had the privilege of being asked to join the Paper Craft Crew Design Team!!

Aside from me being sooo excited to join this wonderful group, you can be excited, too!
There are challenges to join where the Design Team will give you new ideas each week to help get your creativity flowing. I can’t wait to start sharing these with you, and today is the first one! I’d love for you to join along!

This week is an Inspirational Challenge – “PCC379 – Bright Blooms

Isn’t that such a pretty picture?  Here’s what I created based on this inspirational scene –

I love how bright and colorful the flowers turned out. I’ve even used a few new items from the brand new Stampin’ Up! Catalog that goes live today!

Here are the supplies I used:

Stamps: Jar of Flowers, Tasteful Touches

Card Stock: Bumblebee (In-Color), Basic Black, Whisper White

Inks: Memento Black, Pool Party, Crushed Curry

Dies: Tasteful Labels

Accessories: Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon, Holiday Rhinestones, Various Stampin’ Blends Markers, Smokey Slate Stampin’ Write Marker, Wink of Stella, Dimensionals

A few notes on how I put it together –

I fussy cut the flowers and jar. (There is a coordinating Jar Punch for a larger jar.) I used a bit of Crushed Curry ink to rub color around the edges of the white paper to soften it. I then sprinkled the Smokey Slate dots with the marker by flicking the edge of the marker against the cap. I finished it with the Pumpkin Pie colored Rhinestones and some Wink of Stella on some flowers and the water. The flowers and jar are popped up on some Dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this, and don’t forget to join the challenge here!

Happy Stamping!
