Blogging Friends Blog Hop – Favorite Retiring Products

Welcome to this month’s Blogging Friends Blog Hop!

Thanks for making it over to my blog! Each month we’ll have a different theme, and this month it’s “Favorite Retiring Products’

Let me just say that there is no way to narrow it down to just one, or even two of my favorite items that will be retiring. So I’ve decided to just pick two projects for now, and plan on showcasing a few more this month.

This first one I actually made as soon as I got the stamp set, that I HAD to have. I will be so sad when it goes away as there are so many more things I want to make with it.

It’s the Music From the Heart stamp set. Here was the super-easy-to-make card I created in black and white:

I added lots of Rhinestones on the notes. So easy to do, and so sparklie!

My next project is featuring a stamp and coordinating die set that I found so fun and fancy – the Stitched All Around Stamp set and Stitched Labels dies.

I love how pretty this label shaped die is, and how it makes it look like lace. I also used one of the dies to give the background some stitched accents.

The Designer Series Papers I used are both the Birthday Bonanza DSP and the Brights 6×6 DSP.  You could easily make this with any fun DSP you have – even scraps from other projects!

I selected these patterns to give me the Pool Party – Bermuda Bay – Coastal Cabana color scheme. Wink of Stella was splattered all over the front of the card to give it some added sparkle. A few rhinestones and a bow from the Bermuda Bay Striped Ribbon finish it off.

I hope this brightened your day, and don’t forget to check out the other great projects made with retiring products by clicking through the hop today! Here is the list of participants:

If you need help ordering anything you see here (remember – retiring items are going fast!), just let me know – or check out my online store here!

Happy Stamping!
