Fancy Folds – Lever Card
October 18, 2019
Hi folks! Thanks for joining us this month! We’re hopping all over the world with some fun cards. It’s time for the new Fancy Fold for this month – the Lever Card!
I wanted to stay in the season here in the United States – and use a Fall themed set and some fall colors.
Here is the card I created for this fun interactive fold:
I love all the colors and wanted to mix the Gather Together Stamps and dies with the gorgeous patterned Designer Series paper, Come to Gather.
The mix I used was Merry Merlot, Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, and Mint Macaron. Pretty Peacock is on the inside, too.
Here is what the fold looks like from above:
I love how you don’t need to have a sentiment on the front, it’s like a work of art!
I colored some Rhinestones with various Stampin’ Blends to get some pretty colors. The ribbon is the 3/8″ Reversible Ribbon with Pretty Peacock and Old Olive. It coordinates nicely with all the colors!
For the opening, I used several square dies, the Stitched Shapes and the Layering Squares.
Here is the full inside when opened:
I colored the leaves with various Blends and stamped over it all with some Copper ink and the little dots stamp.
The sentiment is in Pretty Peacock. To finish it, I added some Wink of Stella on the leaves on the front to give it even more pizzazz!
This was such a fun card to make, and I hope you like it!
I also hope it inspires you to create some fun cards.
Make sure to check out all the other fantastic projects from the other team members. You’ll be headed over to Astrid next. She has a great project for you this month!
