Fancy Folds – Double Triangle Fold

Thanks for joining us this month! We’re hopping all over the world with some fun cards. It’s time for the new Fancy Fold for this month – a Double Triangle Fold!

There are a few different ways to decorate this one, so I will show you one that I selected.

Start with a full sheet of card stock, score it in half for both directions. Then cut it in half through the diagonal. You get two cards from this, and you can fold them in either direction – flaps to the back, or to the front. It just depends on how you want the card flaps to open.

This is how I made mine open, with the flaps going to the top and right.

When they are folded closed, you set a diagonal line down the card, and I cut two triangles to fit those spaces. One was DSP, the other was a solid color.

I then made the rectangle section with the gorgeous flowers on it, but only glued it to the top left portion, on the Mango Melody side. This way it opens up with the card, that you can see above.

These flowers are so pretty. It’s a two-step process, so I stamped the Orchid Oasis first, then inked up the next stamp with Mango Melody and Old Olive using sponge daubers.

Wink of Stella on the flowers make it all shimmery, along with some fun gems and sparkly ribbon!

I hope you like this and take a few minutes to make one yourself!
