Fancy Folds – Tower Fold

Thanks for joining us this month! We’re hopping all over the world with some fun cards. It’s time for the new Fancy Fold for this month – the Tower Card!
This is such a cute way to spice up a card with just a bit of extra scoring.
I’ve already started working on some Christmas projects, and this one fits right in! Here’s the end result, using some fun new holiday products – the Peaceful Deer Bundle and the Peaceful Prints DSP (the DSP you can earn for FREE during Sale-A-Bration).
Here are the measurements for the base of the card, it’s just a little bit shorter than the standard 8.5″ x 5.5″ base. Use 8.25″ instead.
For the scoring and cutting, I love just remembering 1″, 1″, 1″…. FLIP, 1″, 1″, 1″…..
No real need to remember all the individual measurements – to make it even easier to create.
Then, you just play with the folds and you start to get it to look something like this –
Now, you make the panels to decorate it:

| 4 red snowflake panels (2 on front, 2 on back): | 5 3/8″ x 7/8″ | 5 1/4″ x 3/4″ |
| 2 skinny deer panels on the front: | 4 1/8″ x 7/8″ | 4″ x 3/4″ |
| 1 thick deer panel on front: | 4 1/8″ x 1 3/8″ | 4″ x 1 1/4″ |
| 2 white panels for the sentiment and back: | 5 3/8″ x 2 1/8″ | 5 1/4″ x 2″ |
Add the DSP panels (back is shown here) –
For the front, just glue the DSP layers down first, then the White layer over it.
Here you can see it folds up to fit in a standard envelope size for a 5.5″ x 4.25″ card:
I added some Wink of Stella all over the white background between the trees and snowflakes and it makes the sky sparkle!
