PCC407 – Darling Donkeys

Welcome to this week’s Paper Craft Crew Card Challenge!

Here is the PCC407 Challenge for this week:

I used the shapes as an inspiration, and changed the proportions just a tad to accommodate this cute donkey stamp I wanted to use!

It’s a new stamp coming up you can earn for FREE during Sale-A-Bration (SAB), starting Jan 5th.

Here’s my card today that can be used for any occasion, and for anyone with a sense of humor:

I colored the donkey with Stampin Blends and die cut it out with the Stitched Triangles. I wanted a small border, so I just glued it to some Black cardstock and trimmed around it manually.

The subtle designs in the background are made from several products.

– Embossing folder on vellum: this makes great subtle patterns that show up white

– Ombre pattern: this is actually Designer Series Paper – also available during Sale-A-Bration

– Background pattern: tone on tone stamping. Stamp in the same color as the cardstock for a light pattern.

Here is the full supply list I used this week:

Stamps: Darling Donkeys (SAB)

Card Stock/Paper: Granny Apple Green, Soft Sea Foam, Basic Black, Whisper White, Vellum, Oh So Ombre DSP stack (SAB)

Inks: Soft Sea Foam, Memento Black

Cut & Emboss Machine items: Stitched Triangle Dies, Greenery Embossing Folder

Stampin’ Blends: Light Pool Party, Crumb Cake, Smokey Slate, Petal Pink, Color Lifter

Accessories: Rhinestones, Dimensionals

I hope you enjoyed this, and don’t forget to check out all the other inspirational entries and join the challenge here!
