PCC385 – Campology Trees

Welcome to this week’s Paper Craft Crew Card Challenge!

Here is the PCC385 Tic Tac Toe Challenge we are using this week:

I decided to use the middle column, Watercolor Background, Favorite Color, and Anything but a Floral.

Since my favorite color seems to change over time, I picked two colors from my most recent favorites – a green and a blue.

Specifically for this card, I used Shaded Spruce and Pacific Point and watercolored them together.

I love how the Fluid 100 paper makes it easy for the colors to just flow into each other. It takes no effort at all to make a fun background.

I first created the background, then once dried, I stamped the image with Staz-on. I splattered some Wink of Stella over the image to give it some sparkle like stars in the sky.

The vellum was embossed with the Subtle folder to give it extra texture.  Here’s a close up of all the sparkle and texture:

It was so easy to create this card, and the single image is all that is needed to be the centerpiece.

Maybe this will inspire you to do a little watercoloring, too!

Here is the supply list I used this week:

Stamps: Campology

Card Stock/Paper: Shaded Spruce, Vellum, Basic Black, Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, Whisper White

Inks: Shaded Spruce, Pacific Point, Staz-On Black

Accessories: Water Painters, Subtle Embossing Folder, Holiday Rhinestones, Wink of Stella, Dimensionals

I hope you enjoyed this, and don’t forget to check out all the other inspirational entries and join the challenge here!

Happy Stamping!
