What’s New at Stampin’ Up! Blog Hop – Mini Catalog
April 15, 2020
Thank you for joining us! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ With Exciting Ideas to share with you.
We are featuring the January – June Mini Catalog from Stampin’ Up! and I know you will find a lot of wonderful ideas shared today.
I have chosen a stamp set that fits right in with the Spring season here in the States (as soon as it stops snowing, that is) – The Timeless Tulips.
With these fun flowers, you can make them any color you like, and I made them all different on this card today! I love the bright colors with the black background border.
I tried to stay mostly within one Bright color family and used this set of colors: Poppy Parade, Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo, Mango Melody and Highland Heather. The leaves are Granny Apple Green. I strayed out to use the lighter purple as I think it fit in better with this card.
I sponged a little Pool Party across the middle of the card to add even a bit more color, and depth behind the flowers.
I love how simple yet stunning this card turned out. I even added Wink of Stella on the flowers for some sparkle.
The Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon and Champagne Rhinestones are also in the Mini Catalog – some staples in anyone’s craft supply. They add such a nice touch.
For the inside of the card, I used the coordinating Tulip Builder punch to add some fun.
I hope you enjoyed today’s card!
