Go For It – Let It Ride

Welcome to my post for today, it’s an extra special one! I was voted one of the Top 10 in Kylie’s International Blog Highlights for July! So, we all create a special post just for that! How exciting for all of us!

The theme for the Hop is Encouragement, and I wanted to make sure it was a special card. I chose a stamp set I absolutely adored, but haven’t had the chance to use until now!
The set is Let It Ride, and it has some gorgeous horse drawings.

I found a cute layout on Pinterest that I liked, and I changed it up to accommodate the set and accessories I wanted to use.
Here’s my card I created:

I love all the layers and texture this has, it just adds so much interest to it.

I used Stampin’ Blends to color the horse, as well as the Rhinestones. The Bronze colored Rhinestones tie into the shine of the Copper Ribbon. I’ve also used the Denim and Burlap Ribbons. The Sprig punch with vellum adds even more features. In keeping with the wood/rustic theme, I used the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder for the white background.

And you don’t want to overlook the fabulous Designer Series Paper – that looks like linen!! It’s the Pressed Petals DSP, and it has lots of floral images, and the backs are great patterns.
