Tis the Season
September 19, 2017
H folks! I have a few things to share with you today. First – I wanted to show you another wonderful card made with the Merry Patterns Hostess stamp set (the one you can earn for free). I borrowed the layout from a sketch challenge, and the colors from one of the cards Janet Holmes created using that layout.
After switching out a few pieces, here is what I came up with:
It’s got the Merry Patterns stamp, a snowflake die from the Seasonal Layers thinlits, the Softly Falling embossing folder, Silver Metallic Edge ribbon and Metallic Thread, and a piece of the Be Merry Designer Series Paper. I love the pops of silver with the Cherry Cobbler red.
The second card I want to share is a re-make of one I recently posted. It’s using the same stamp as above, but with a bit more color.
The original card can be found here. When I made that one I started gluing things down before properly aligning all the pieces. 🙂 So, I had to leave out the light. I really wanted that light, so I made another one!
I love this one. 🙂 I also added more to the sign post so it didn’t look like the sign was going to fall off the post! I hope you like the re-do! Is there anything you’ve done and then wanted to make a re-do? I’d love to hear about them!
Last but not least, don’t forget there is a Big Card Class this coming Sunday!
* * Be sure to RSVP so I have enough supplies ready. I have limited space, so reply early if you want to come!
Happy Stamping everyone!
