Quick Snow Card – PP224 Tic Tac Toe Challenge
December 5, 2014
I have a quick card that I came up with for PP224: Jaydee’s Tic Tac Toe Challenge:
I used the White – Snowflake – Glitter option, because after I wanted to use my trees, I did not want to add anything between them… so, no transport and yay glitter!
I’m not sure why the picture is so dark… my ongoing camera issues I assume… If I get a better pic I will replace it. 🙂
Edit: added a different pic here:
I think this came out pretty cute. Super simple, quick, sparklie, and very do-able! I actually combined two of my stamp sets, because I like the snowflakes in one better than the other! The trees and sentiment are from the White Christmas set, and the little snowflakes are in the Holiday Home set. You can mix and match!
Smokey Slate and Soft Sky give you the subtle look I was going for layered on multiple white layers.
Behind the scenes: To give it a different layered look, I cut out the middle of the Soft Sky paper and put the white behind it, instead of on top of it. It makes it look like more of a picture frame effect.
Items used:
Stamps: White Christmas and Holiday Home
Paper: Whisper White and Soft Sky
Inks: Soft Sky and Smokey Slate
Others: Stylish Stripes embossing folder, Dazzling Details, blender pen
I hope you like it,
Mak
