Unite and Excite summary #uniteexcite

Hey folks… Here is a quick recap of last Friday’s super cool Stampin’ Up! event: Unite & Excite!  Must not forget this:   #uniteexcite   because everything has a hashtag these days… and URLs hate “&” as text.
We had 75 Demonstrators all get together to do just that.. unite and be excited!

The host, Linda Bauwin, did a fabulous job, as well as all of the presenters and helpers.  We had demonstrations, discussions, round table questions, yummy cupcakes with cute little signs on them… and what Stampin’ Up! event would be complete without …. PRIZE PATROL!!!!  🙂
I was lucky enough to have my name drawn as one of the 16 folks, if I counted right, that got to receive a FREE stamp set (yes, 16 out of 75!! awesome odds!!) !  And on top of that, everyone there got an all attendee give-away! We got the Everyday Occasions Cardmaking Kit. How cool is that?? I was pretty excited at the cupcakes, so throw in a free card kit AND a free stamp set?!? Sign me up for the next one!! 🙂
Linda also got to pick how to give away two BONUS stamps – Good Greetings – the one you can earn free through October…  The newest Demonstrator (which I think was just a matter of weeks) and the Demonstrator with the most Demo years (I wanted to say oldest, but that’s not quite what I mean!!) got those. Congrats to them!

I will say I was not good at taking a lot of pictures, I was too busy chatting with people I don’t get to see too often, and of course meeting new friends!  I believe a good time was had by all!  S0, here is a quick page put together using a template in MDS (My Digital Studio – love this btw) using some of my pictures as well as some shared by the other Demonstrators:

Nothing too fancy, just needed something to get the pictures all in, and not post them all one by one! (and I haven’t downloaded the new Project Life layouts for MDS yet!!)
That would be Linda in the pumpkin outfit, as in Paper Pumpkin? get it? too cute! 🙂

Hope everyone enjoyed the update!!
