Plot Twist – change of schedule

I recently saw that referenced online, when something doesn’t quite go the way you planned, exclaim PLOT TWIST and move on…. That is what I need to do today. (It must be going around, because we even lost power at work today…) With a few schedule changes and other happenings going on, I need to move the open house to another day. That’s the bad news, but the good news is, I get to add another card making class to the calendar!! So, they will be the same day! YAY for card making!!

I am combining the Open House and the Card Class into a one day event you won’t want to miss!   So, whether you want to come to make a stack of cards, or just come to play with the new Holiday Catalog items, this event is for you.

The new date will be Sunday, September 14th, at 1:00 pm.

Please RSVP for both by Friday, Sept 12th, so you have a week to clear off your calendars!  🙂

If you have any questions, just let me know!!  My calendar will be updated with that info as well.   You can check out the Facebook event by clicking here.

In the meantime, here is another sample to help tide you over until then.  This is a card that was made at our fun retreat, Stamping in the Woods:

It was made with the Stars framelit and the Bright & Beautiful stamp set from the Holiday Catalog. A little bit of gold paper and some embossing powder and this turned out really cool! Notice the colored rhinestones, too!

But wait!  There’s more! <sorry, couldn’t resist>  Check out the inside:

IMG_6678_editIt’s a pop up card, of sorts.  Using strips of the Window Sheets, the stars seem to float above the card.  Nifty.

OH, and I almost forgot… since the Open House will now be after the next Stampin’ Up! event – “Unite & Excite” – I get to go to, I can share what I learn there with you at the Open House. YAY!!

Here are the supplies:

Enjoy your Friday everyone!
