FMS153 Freshly Made Sketches Challenge

Just a quick post to show you the next card I made for the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge – FMS153.  Here’s the sketch, all clean and simple:

FMS Final 153-001I went back to the Christmas-y theme for this card, but please note, I almost did another fall card!! 🙂
I tried to keep it simple, but wanted to use non-traditional colors. I kinda stuck with that. I generally don’t think of Christmas when I see Lost Lagoon and Strawberry Slush.. But I think it turned out well!  I added rhinestones for bling, but could not get them to picture great, so they look like brads or something else vaguely metallic-y-blob-like. Trust me, they are rhinestones, and they are much blingier in person.  I may need to look into setting up a ‘photo taking spot’ with either better lighting, or a better camera!
And if you haven’t noticed, I write like I speak, and make up a lot of words and use incorrect grammar as I go…it doesn’t bother me, so hopefully it doesn’t bother you! After all, you are here for awesome stampy ideas, not an English grammar lesson.
So, without any further waiting, here is the card I made for this challenge:
This used a bunch of cool stuff from the Holiday Catalog, so if you don’t have a copy of it yet, let me know so I can get one out to you!  You’re missing a lot!

About the card – I love having the black duplicate layer behind whatever image I cut with a framelit, I think it looks kinda cool. I also colored in the words with the Pear Pizzazz marker… The banners were just hand cut, and are popped up with a few dimensionals, so it’s very very 3-d.

Here are the products I used:

Hopefully everyone likes it, thanks!!

Mak
